I guess, but I tend to set my expectations based on what we know. All three films have solid directors and two of the three have a history with the franchise. Seems reasonable to let oneself get a little excited for them

Batman: I have every reason to trust Nolan. He's record has been rock solid. Until that changes, my faith is with him that this will be another amazing film.

This past weekend Nolan screened a five minute reel of Dark Knight Rises and everything I've read has been incredibly positive. Some are saying this will be better than The Dark Knight.

I wouldn't be surprised at all and honestly don't understand some of the internet skepticism out there right now.

I love how much thought went into how future technology would play out. The presentation cube, red laser ball scanners you see in the hallways, operation table, and Meredith's room display.

It's details like these that make for really great sci-fi. I'm no excited for this.

And that David movie is just perfect. There is something interesting about an android that very real, but never really becomes indistinguishable from humans, like an uncanny valley of behavior. I love how David times his speech, his vaguely insincere gesturing, and how he sits too perfectly.

More internet viral marketing. They released some sound clips in reverse and fans had to play them backwards to understand what was being said.
