First impressions: we reached Peak Beard at last year's summer Pitti. This year we seem to be approaching Peak Back-Blade.

This is very un-SF, what with the bright colours and tie-clip, but I love it:

These two guys nailed it. No peacockry. Just simple, relaxed and comfortable, with good colour matching. They look great:

This is nice too. Are restricted colour palettes going to be a "thing"?

Don't know if people are familiar with him but this dude - Nicholas Radano - makes great ties. He used to label them "spacca Napoli" and he's recently changed the name to something different. Can't remember what it is but will see if I can find it. Well-prices and beautifully made. Incredibly thick silk.

Lol. Much funnier than your Wall Street thread.

Aside from the guy wearing shorts and those socks-suspenders and the one with the brown overalls, I think one can find "inspiration" in almost any of those outfits. Not wear exactly as they wear them but you can pick items and adapt to one's taste.

Seems like there are more women now, or at least they get to be photographed more.

Thank you Erik!

The woman on far right in the blue suit with grey vest = total babe. Pulls off the "I'm a woman, but it's a menswear convention so I'm gonna wear menswear" thing quite well, with just the right touch of humor.

Thanks for all these pictures Erik. There will come a day when some trousers will be worn on armpit level... I like high rise trousers but some seen in Pitty (and other blogs, tumblrs, etc) are a little much lately.
