I like them a lot, and they are my size even. Dunno about the narrow though. Not sure what width I am.

I really like them. A nice example of a vintage spectator.

For whatever reason the high contrast of Spectators never did it for me. They seem to cry for attention or are too dandyish or something (flog the heathen!!!). There's something appealing about these though and I can't quite place what sets them apart from others...something about that triple-stitched serrated brown cap-toe.

That narrow width seems a little misleading...4 1/2" actually seems more like a wide.

I think you're right. The high contrast seems to be abated by the cap-toe. With fewer curves to catch the eye, maybe I could live with something like that.

Euro 42 - 43 generally corresponds to US 9.5 - 10, if that helps.
