This used to be the situation for all kinds of stuff I was into, tons of magazines in Japanese but nothing in english. I still bought the Japanese magazines. Streetwear, sneakers, cars, video games (streetfighter specifically). There are now english language magazines for cult cars and sneakers, and I suppose video games too. So if dress shoes somehow reach a renaissance then you can hope for it.

Otherwise, no.

But is there still no English language mag available? I happen to have an issue of a German mag, the articles are in German but has some comments and brand intros in English. Although somewhat superficial, at least compared to SF

I think it is released 2x yearly ... At my French cobbler I browsed various mags, but did not note any contact information. They seemed to be Industry insider magazines, but the french do love a good mag

a few options: 1. Hire a Japanese interpreter 2. Learn Japanese 3. Just read for enjoyment; the most important contact infos are usually in English (telephones, emails, etc.)

I think you've identified a market. Start the magazine yourself.

And think of all the free manufacturer samples!
