A Gollum movie? Instead why not do something new with the property? I’m not sure this is what the franchise needs.

With Tolkien I don’t mind mining the works. Lots there and he kinda segues the world to modern times in a few paragraphs.

Hunt for Gollum invoked Gandalf, Aragorn, the Dunedain, Saruman, High Elves and such. Could be interesting or just a cash grab.

Regardless...
I'll watch it, because I'm stupid like that.

I feel like we need a movie (or a trilogy!) to explore what happened in the power vacuum caused by the death of the Great Goblin by Gandalf in the Hobbit movies. Surely there's a lot of drama there.

I'm perfectly willing to be delighted if they crush this, but I worry that it's just going to be Rings of Power-level backfill.

Outstanding casting. His voice couldn’t be more perfect for the role.

He was perfectly cast for that role too.

His final performance before he died BTW.

The James Gunn suit does not look good. Doesn't look like it fits him properly.

Also, apparently his Superman doesn't give a sh1t. Some big calamity is going on in the background and Superman is just casually taking his time to put on his boots. Like wtf is he doing?

His colors are far more spot-on with the traditional Superman look. Better logo then we saw with Cavil too. Plus red trunks and a yellow belt! No contest. Gunn's suit wins hands down.

The fit is fine. He's in an awkward angle and they aren't going for the skin tight look.

People are taking the shot too literally. He's not going to sit around in the movie while the world ends. It's meant to emphasize what his life is like and Superman getting ready for "work.”

I'm really enjoying X-Men '97.
But the person who voices Storm bugs me.
It sounds like some old lady that does Shakespeare at a dinner theatre in Bakersfield.

I mean she’s 65 and like much of the voice cast was the voice actor for the original show. They brought back as many as they could as it’s a direct continuation of the original.

She sounds fantastic to my ear.
