I need to replan my purchases because yoox's free-shipping-offer expired yesterday (at least in Germany.. but not in the US.. or, e.g., in Belgium ).

I don't think they deduct VAT. I live in Norway (which is outside EU, the poor man's club) and they didn't deduct the VAT.

To a lot of countries they send the package as DDP(=delivery duty paid). Which means they have already deducted vat and charged you customs fees and local tax so you won't risk having to pay anything more when the package arrives. Not sure if Hong Kong is on the list, if not they have already deducted vat.
