No Purchase Club - March 2009 (new launch for MC)

Close call. I almost bought a new pair of glasses and new shoes. The glasses were the really close one. Very cool tortoise shell. But I held out. [Plus I was already spending a fortune getting new lenses for existing glasses.]

At the end of the month, those who had close calls can summarize the $ saved by sticking to the club discipline. Then we can add them all up and figure out what impact we had on the global economy this month. I'm already at $300 (Moncler parka) + $800 (Borrelli suit)...

I dunno bout the viability of this club in this economic climate, there seems to be a lot of great bargains out there. Is there any way you can suspend No Purchase principles to save the No Purchase system?
