4 x 2 configuration is slightly non-standard but not necessarily uncommon. Depending on the stance and position you could even add two more buttons. As a DB blazer patch pockets can work. On a full suit I agree that you would want besom pockets or (maybe) flaps depending on what regional school of thought you belong to.

Anyway, you just described a basic navy DB blazer. Nothing too irregular about it. But the 4x2 config can be very hard to do justice to. Unless you are a real playboy then a DB also calls for a tie IMO.

I was looking at a sport coat and noticed, for the first time, the following warning: "SALE OF THIS MERCHANDISE IS FINAL. YOOX offers no refunds, credits or exchanges for this item."

Is this something new? Given how meager or useless the descriptions are of Yoox merchandise ("no appliqués" - really?), I'm very reluctant to buy anything, no matter how good the deal is, without the ability to return it.

No this isn't something new. I've seen it before, and would want to burn myself on it... You might think "Well if it ends up being useless for me, I might be able to sell it elsewhere", but what are you going to do when it's damaged or has a serious flaw? I'd only pull the trigger on items that cost really close to nothing, keeping in mind that you've probably lost the money on something useless.
Things can only get better from there on.

It means it's in the sample sale. When they do the last price drop, they make everything final sale. Should be in the next week or two.

Now that you put it that way, cheap isn't cheap enough. I was thinking that, if it didn't fit, I'd put it on B&S. I didn't think about the fact that it could be ripped or stained. I'm (reluctantly) going to pass.

It's been final sale for a while now, though if you do get something clearly defective you can return, Yoox CS is pretty good in that case

I tried this code and it keeps coming up as 'invalid'. Is it because I'm in Canada? Anyone else having the same issue?

^Yeah I just tried it on both the US and Canadian site, and it only works on the US site.
