That’s a very bold suit - not only is it double breasted but it has very bold pinstripes. Now, I’m a big lover of bold stripes (though I almost exclusively wear single breasted suits) but as a lover of bold stripes, one thing I can say is a more muted tie is going to be better here. I would probably opt for a solid navy or gray tie. Maybe a very dark burgundy. Whatever I would end up choosing, it would be a solid tie with no patterns except maybe with some texture e.g. a grenadine tie.

You could go with a pattern on a dark navy tie like this picture from a Ralph Lauren Purple Label advertisement of a gent wearing a bold stripe suit, and it would probably work:

As far as shirts go, I wouldn’t wear anything with this one but a solid white or solid light blue. Or if you want to go all out since you’re already wearing such a bold suit - solid blue with a white contrast collar for the full Gordon Gekko look.

I’m wearing it for a wedding, never worn it before.
Are you the groom or a guest?

If you're a guest, go with a traditional solid charcoal or navy single-breasted suit. Don't wear something so attention-grabbing. The groom is supposed to be the center of attention.

If you're the groom, you can wear whatever you want.

I am no expert but unless you are the groom I think this suit is too loud.
I know a rule of wedding dress is never show up the groom.

But to answer your question. Crisp white shirt and navy tie.
