Navy Sport Coat - Hopsack & Mohair?

Looking into a navy sport coat is there a major difference between these two from The Armoury (besides price)?

1. 100% wool hopsack from Taylor and Lodge. Jacket #1

2. 75% wool hopsack / 25% mohair from Bower Roebuck with flap pockets. Jacket #2

I am not familiar with fabric from Taylor and Lodge or Bower Roebuck, so any experience or advice would be helpful. I also have not owned a mohair fabric jacket before, what are your opinions on mohair? I live in Connecticut so I'm looking for a year-round navy sport coat.

The mohair blend seems to be a bit more of an open weave (note the light peeking through in the held-open shots), so it seems to skew a bit towards SS. Mohair tends to have a bit of a sheen, but I don't have any experience with it in a hopsack. It also tends to have a bit less natural stretch than wool, but again, no experience in a hopsack
