These are on the 325, as are the shell wingtip derbys. I don't find them narrow; if anything, maybe a bit wide, but obvioiusly, YMMV. I'm wearing them today. To me, a little wide is good, so I'm not complaining.

Since we're in a C&J thread I figured no need to start a new one.
So here's my Q - wtf happened to their quality control ?
I've gone thru 3 pairs of their made-for-BB shoes before finally landing a pair without visible flaws.
I'm talking the type of flaws that can't be fixed via the use leather care products.
Deep (1/2 inch long) imprints in calf; large dark spots that blended with the rest of the dye - that sorta thing.
I used to think Alden/AE were the Sloppy Central. Well, apparently now they've got company

The 325 is definitely not a narrow last. I love the look of the Coniston boot on the 325 but cannot buy it because at the length I need there is still oceans of space under the vamp with the quarters pulled tight.

Maybe it's the RLPL English D vs. American D enigma again?

Hi,
How this thread is still active, and this is the right one in which to post my question.
I really would like a pair of C&J Monkton, but am concerned the 348 last will be too narrow. I wear 12D in AE Norwich. Can anyone give some insight here?
Thanks.
