Really an interesting thread about moving and kids here. I really hope to really see a lot of things more often here, and see a lot for the future. I hope that everything would be well in the long run for this one.

What was the outcome of this decision?
Are you still in the small house?
How is that working out?

Also, have you looked at the current prices the house you were considering 2 year ago?

yup, we moved, was like nothing ever happened. my kids see their old friends all the time, have a huge network of new friends too. My oldest is the most popular kid in his grade, they are putting him on the jv ball team as a 7th grader next year so that probably helps. they adjusted as well as i could have hoped. my wife has made friends, i am trying too. about half hour from the old neighborhood now. and on the plus side, the house is up 18% price wise since we paid for it
