Dainese Drake Air Textile Pants. I wear these all summer. If you want real protection, then don't bother with "riding jeans."

Like pants you can keep wearing at work? With armor?

I'd say no. I used to keep a pair of khakis at the office that I would wear when I rode my motorcycle in.

I had some sort of kevlar-lined jeans with knee armor that I mostly wore riding that looked OK off the bike, but they were definitely not normal pants and I also wouldn't want to wear them all day at work.

If I started from scratch into armor I’d probably have just done a custom Aerostitch. You get armor and slide resistance and can wear normal clothes underneath. Just have a different pair of shoes/boots from riding.

I bought some Roadskins for jeans, they’re stretchy and look like dark denim. I used ghost armor insert to slim it down.

I have a two piece-zip Dainese combo.
The jacket wouldn't translate to every day life because it has the carbon fiber shoulders and stuff, but if I took the knee pucks off the pants, I think I could rock them in a dark club...

Aerostich makes chinos that actually look pretty decent and have removable 3DO armor at the knees. I also have chinos from Revit! and Dianese that I can easily wear at the office and not have people wonder what sort of moto costume I'm wearing.

In my honest opinion, the only correct answer is to wear proper armor and bring a change of clothes.

Bikes on tricklechargers now since Houston has settled into 100 degree plus weather as far as the eye can see. Its not bad on open road, but the heatstroke you risk getting out of Houston on the freeways in stop and go traffic is just not worth the hassle. Looking for a place in Hill Country where I can store the bikes and just drive to them on weekends. We had been looking out near Alpine/Terlingua, but quickly concluded that due to the almost impossibility of getting anything done out there (building supplies aren't easy to come by and electricity is scarce), combined with the sheer distance involved in getting there, that Hill Country was the better choice

The "feels like" temperature is 101 degrees and its only 9:52 in the morning. I think I will sit this one out.
Yikes! #nationalmeltonthewaytoworkday

We're only supposed to hit like 74 today. The ride in was perfect. :)
