not exactly the same thing, but I feel like english doesn't have enough words to say that something is "good" so every other word gets abused. Maybe they exist and I just don't know about them.

"hey how was your day?"
"awesome/epic/amazing/insane/unreal...I went to the beach!"

is it really awe-inspiring that you went to the beach?
