So I got my Newtons 10 months ago and they have received many positive comments. So far they are wearing in nicely, I will post some pics. I think they look great for 10 months use. Once got so wet at a funeral I was not sure they would ever dry out.

I also learned that saddle soap was not needed and lightened the color several shades. Still look good, but wish I'd not done that. The Newtons were my first ever goodyear welted shoes, and I am learning to care for them as I go, lots to learn yet. See my prior post back last August for how the Newtons looked when new.

Anyway, liked them enough that I got two more pairs. I was seriously considering my first pair of goodyear welted boots too but have not yet made the plunge. Thank you for having wide sizes available, though many of your shoes are not available in wide I will take what I can get. Still considering a pair of Reed in coffee one day. I may be spent for now though.

Now to the photos!

My trusty Newtons after 10 months.

And my latest additions to my tiny shoe collection. These have not yet been worn.

Last two photos, forum will only let me attach 5 photos in one post apparently.

Hope you like the photos, this is 75% of my goodyear welted shoe collection. I also picked up a pair of Barker shoes that I enjoy also, but the fit of the Moral Code in wide is better for me. I now need to get more shoe trees as I only have one pair and they are truly too small for the Moral Code shoes, XL is not big enough for 13W shoes, apparently need XXL shoe trees.
