okie dokie folks, here are my lms. both received without any major issues.
pretty pleased. the few little marks on the walnut upper are no biggie, and the sole will wear and get rid of the black marks. The brown ones are pretty solid with no major issues.
Looking at the basket, I cannot but think that the shoes are made in China or somewhere in the third - word country.
I ordered my dub monks and chukkas 6 or 7 weeks ago, and they told me it would be around two weeks. Now the monks are supposed to be in now, but still 15 days wait for the chukkas. Starting to annoy me, this is.
Okay, I hope that you are right in this case although the Meermin cannot compare to St Crispins.Meermin is almost all made in China. If Romanians can make high quality shoes in the case of Saint Crispins, there's no reason that Chinese couldn't.
I guess they could but I'm not paying for that.If I'm not mistaken, I bought the exact same double monks. Mine shipped the 19th, so I guess yours are finished too. Have you asked if they can ship them individually?
Meermins are the best shoes in the price range. Carmina too expensive.
Finally had the chance to take a picture of my newest acquisition:
Double Monks in the Light Brown Rapello Suede on the Hiro last. Due to the current weather conditions I haven't taken them for a walk yet. I sized down half a size on Pepe's recommendation and they fit pretty well, however the leather seems to be pretty hard (judging from the few walks I had around the house).
not that much more expensive; look hereMeermins are the best shoes in the price range. Carmina too expensive.
