so she isnt even acting?

I'm afraid she couldn't even act if she wanted to. Have you seen X Men First Class? Same character, different costume. it's a wonder how she can typecast herself from a housewife to a mutant

She is just pure eye-candy.

1 year and 4 months between a season is way too long. I'm glad a deal was reached, and maybe a big absence will have the story move along past a simple one summer later or one year later.

There is def. no guarantee that Alison Brie will be in each episode, so don't get your hopes too high each week.

I'm rewatching Mad Men mainly as filler and on second viewing....

The show is horribly uncreative.

I think I've now watched four consecutive (certainly three consecutive) episodes that end with a sad Don looking down and the camera does a slow dolly away from him...at the same speed with the same angle each time.

The Don-Dick story is a bit convoluted. It's not unbelievable it's just convoluted.

Don is not a complex figure. He's a weak, abusive man. The end.

Peggy is probably the most compelling character.

Man do they waste so much time on unnecessary story lines. Sal's dinner with Ken could have been completely scrapped, for example. We already know Sal is closeted. We know how conflicted he is. Having a little mystery to his personal life would have made him more interesting. And all of Betty outside of the shrink's office. And really, any of the soap opera-esque elements (so, what, all of season three?).

The acting and window dressing are great, we know that. But Mad Men is kind of like going to a beautiful restaurant with great food presentation, great ingredients but it's just not cooked well.
