Looking for a hybrid dress-casual boot, a lace-up with a low sole and a very low heel. Here are a few examples of what I have in mind (in order from cheapest -> most expensive), and I'm hoping that someone here might be able to advise on the relative quality of each pair or can point me in the direction of other similar styles. Hoping to keep this under $200.

If you buy the Rachel Comeys from revolveclothing.com you can use the first time buyer discount of 30% which will put u around your desired price range. That is if you are a first time customer. If you arent a first time customer search the forum for the 20% off revolve code. The other boots are ugly/eurotrashy. IMO.

Is there a code for the 30% off discount or do they just automatically deduct it upon checkout?

Of the three, I like the Rachel Comeys the best. However, it's still over my budget and I prefer the rubber sole of the Ben Shermans and the overall silhouette of the Lacoste, which is why I threw them both in as examples. And I'm hoping to land this pair in black, preferably tumbled or pebbled leather. Sorry to offend with my arriviste taste.

Nevertheless, I'll try to track down the 20% Revolve code. I only know the 15% and there are some other things on sale there I'd like to buy.

no. you have to ask them for it. if you do it over the phone just let them know you are a first time customer and they will apply it. that is what they did for me.

Just checked it out -- would prefer the patent black, but the largest they're pitching is a 44. Do you know whether a 45 or 46 translates to a US 12, and how accurate is that number? I wear a 12D AE or 11.5 Chuck.

Otherwise this is damn close.

45 usually

Check the shoes you do have for the euro size. It should be pretty consistent. I find euro sizing to be a lot more standard.

I tend to agree, but there is still a margin of error -- I've ranged from 45-47. Most often I fit a 46, which translates to a (rare) US12.5.

Suffice to say I have a peculiar pair of feet. Twice I've been measured and the salesperson had to call a manager to re-measure and verify.
