No I agree completely but come on after 6 months of wear they have a hole in them is a bit ridiculous for the price of the jeans.

Do you wear a belt? I ask because a belt buckle can cause a high friction area.

When it comes to $ and quality I generally only reserve that correlation to heritage brands.
Both my Alden Indy's are damn near $500 less than any of my SLP boots and they are light years ahead in terms of build quality.

Does anyone know how SLP babycat canvas sneakers fit?
I would put the SLP forum but there's more traffic here.

How did you size on the New Way shorts in relation to JE denim, I'm guessing 1 size up? (ex. 30 in JE denim, 31 in New Way shorts)
Yes, I’m a 29 in JE denim and got a 30 in NWS. The 29 fit but was pretty restricting especially if planning to swim in them. I’m a 29 in all other outlier bottoms though.

Yea one size small. They aren’t comfortable or worth the cost as the soles are prone to yellowing and separating easily.

I hope so but he did def hint at the black pair dropping for sure. Still want the triple white pair more than any other color.

The hoods have been too small/short on all of their hoodies. You feel like the juggernaut when you pull them up. Early villains being the worst. Dual flashes actually got much better in later production runs as well.
I love John Elliott hoodies, but this is my gripe with them. I've had the Villain, the loopwheeled Dual Flash, the Oversized Cropped, the Raglan, and the Beach. Out of all of those, the other one that actually fits desirably is the OS Cropped. I sized up on the Raglan I recently got, so it doesn't count. If I hadn't sized up, the hood would have been too small as well.

I wear hoodies because the hoods provide function. Having a hood that's too small defeats the purpose of that. Might as well just wear a crewneck sweatshirt.

It's a shame because I just recently got the Beach Hoodie, and it's so great except the hood. Looks like I'll have to stick with the OS Cropped as my go-to and my favorite.

It doesn’t make any sense at all to not drop them... they are In the lookbook AGAIN, and now the lead piece for that clip..
