Well that pic has sold me on the Kake after all these months, I've been a big raw edge fan ever since they dropped. Now if they'd just restock the Slate before it's discontinued..

SLP boots are slick. I also picked up a pair at a steal. Got the Ranger 25 Double Zips for damn near 60% off. They come in tomorrow. Fits look dope. Makes me want a few more Kake hoodies.

I've been searching for the ranger 25 double zips for a while now but could never pull the trigger given the price tag. Where did you pic them up?

^^ lol didn't know we were still talking about the sweatshirt post. I guess I should make an edit to that statement--I wear 20 sweatshirts in 3 years, not a week.

I think I read you were studying for something in the health field when all that was going on and I am too, which is maybe why I don't understand what is odd about this, cause I know how time consuming it can be. JE fleece is easy to throw on and allows you to still look nice/not feel like a scrub, without being overdressed.

In the market for some boots as an alternative to sneakers to pair with jeans. I stay in FL so weather isn't an issue. Basically switch between Neros & plumas every other day. Looking in the $3-400 price range.

-JE Combat: are people pleased? How's sizing?
-CP Chelsea: I know a few here have these, worth it? Crepe sole is a bit of a turn off, but I don't want to shell out a grand for SLP chelsea's.
-any alternatives? welcome to suggestions!

thanks boys

Just got these SEF black suede side zips in, I think they are solid (wearing with the JE mr porter denim) I have the tobacco jodhpurs which are nice as well. paid $285 I think all in.

Bro, it was the craziest thing. I kept searching for them online hoping they would pop up, then outta nowhere they showed up in the google search right on the ysl website at like 5am. Copped for $595. Only had two sizes, sz. 9 and 12. Both were gone within an hour. I spent the next 4 days nervous I was gonna get an email saying it was an out of stock item, but nope got shipping confirmation. Too hyped!

v jealous of whoever bought the size small puffer from Barneys for $900.

Thought about it, couldn't justify for Texas winter, but man that thing is tight.

Back to the villain debate again? For me, the villain still remains my favorite je hoodie because it fits my body the best. Side zips or not, they don't make the hoodie, the fit does. I have a kake yet I still reach for a villain most of the time. I can't do any of the oversized stuff. It all boils down to the silhouette you're looking for.

No trend is ever dead unless you personally feel it is. Sometimes my natural fashion sense aligns with whats trendy, and sometimes it doesn't i.e. rock band tees. But just because the overall market shifts away from something definitely doesn't mean it's dead. Rock what you like, and if it looks good other people are gonna bite regardless.

Inside this internet JE bubble is the only place "side zips are dead". I wear Villains, and still get asked on the regular where I got the thing.

SEF looks good up there with the mrPxJE.

Half zip is the best to layer under jackets. And parachute looks good!
