Is this aviator jacket ok to wear everyday?

Dear all,
I need to buy a new jacket to wear everyday for the winter, and I really like this aviator jacket . However, I am concerned whether it is a bit too showy, or 'frivolous' to wear every day, in particular as I go to work. In particular, I am not sure about the patches. Just to give you some context, I am a scientific researcher and am 36 years old.

Hard to judge anyone's exact workplace, but I would think that jacket is too showy for an everyday piece. It will be extremely obvious you are wearing it everyday.

Definitely a jacket to wear either casually outside of work or seldomly at work, try pairing it with a khaki pant or even a blue pant with some earth tones in it! a nice pair of leather boots with the same shade of leather would look great! Also try and stick with earth tones when picking a shirt.
