Is that worse than turning to advertisers for the same treatment?

Can a 3B jacket originally rolled quite high be "pressed" to roll to the second button without messing up the chest shape?
I have an old 3B suit i never wear but if it an be changed I might actually be able to use it here and there

Most of the high roll 3 button jackets I have seen have fairly large lapels already. If you were to roll the lapels down to the second button, then they would only get bigger. A perfect example is the photo of the high roll jacket shown in this thread. If you rolled it to the second button you would end up with 4 inch lapels which would probably look ridiculous.

I would say classic, a nice black suit is always a classic even though it is hated by some on here.

Post 2591 on the WAYWN thread is a TM Lewin 3B suit. I think it looks good, but this guy always looks relaxed and confident so that's probably most of it. It is a pretty high closure, though.

(how do you enter links between threads?

There is a place in NY that specializes in this very thing. It's called gdl203.

I have a feeling you're right there... the lapels are pretty wide as is and when I tried myself to "press" it to the second, they only got wider.
