Personally, I'd feel disgusting working out in the same shoes I wear in the evening.

This. Chucks are too narrow and uncomfortable for me. Been thinking about getting some PF Flyers Bob Cousys -- very similar to chucks.

What do you guys think of these AMQ Pumas? They come in blue, orange, white and black too.

i kind of like them. normally not a Mcqueen Puma fan but those are nice, but another colorway would be better.

Cheap sneakers: Vans Authentics, Vans Era, Vans Old Skool, Chuck Taylors (and the various interpretations of it like PF Flyers).

I love JPs and I love Chucks. Comes to sneakers, that's all I'll probably wear the rest of my life. But for running and exercising, I get the cheapest pair of good Nikes or New Balance. They're only for working out, after all.

There really isn't a sneaker that boasts good style and performance unless you're willing to compromise. I'd say the New Balance come close but they're such a love it or hate it shoe. I personally like the majority of New Balance sneakers. Also when I was watching the movie 500 Days of Summer and the main character was wearing a pair of sneakers that he wore casually and also in a business casual environment with dress shirts, sweater vests, chinos and I thought it looked ok. It wouldn't be something I would do everyday but it wasn't as outrageous as some people here make it out to be.

(Those were the sneakers he wore)
