Going in early summer for 9 days with wife and daughters. Would like some suggestions on must-sees and fine dining. Dublin, Cork, Limerick, Galway for likely route.

We went to Scotland a couple of years ago (just wife and I and some other couples) and did Edinburgh and St Andrews for a couple of weeks and it was the best trip we have ever taken. Figured we would take the girls on a similar trip and see how they like it (11 and 13).

Any input on travel/dining/attire/ etc is very much welcome. I found in Scotland if you were in the more local establishments any americanized attempt (intentional or not) at tartan/plaid/tweed or otherwise proprietary attire was frowned upon, if not downright ridiculed. I had a rather drunk, cute little fella tell me my flannel shirt was "HORRRRIBLE!" but he forgave me since I was a Yank and we had a Tennents and a chat and he sang me a song LOL.

A few ideas for Ireland. Ring of Kerry, Dingle peninsula, Rock of Cashel, Muckross House, Trinity College in Dublin, Killarney, the pub in Dublin owned by Bono of U2. Look at Rick Steves site for more ideas.

Killarney, Ring of Kerry and Cliffs of Moher are already on definite list. Muckross is on short list.

Thank you
