How much do you guys spend on bespoke suits? I've been searching and found style by sarai in gas town and they go for about 2700+. I bought a mtm from harry rosen a few months ago for about 1700 and the fit wasn't perfect so I think I would want to go bespoke for my next suit.

What does "fit wasn't perfect" mean? Usually it takes a couple of suits to hone in on something that truly "fits"- also think about whatever the house style or the place is.

There is a bit of collar gap and rumpling on the shoulders which they couldn't fix.

Sad news unfortunately. I just called up Modernize Tailor to book in a measurement session and they informed me that Bill had passed away. He had a pretty good innings (I think he was 92 or so) but definitely the loss of an icon.

His apprentice of 3 years is going to try to take over the bespoke business going forward, but they're only taking alterations for at least the next couple of months.

So what's the current list of best places to get a custom suit made in Vancouver? I have fabric I want to bring.

I saw earlier in this thread that he is a really good tailor however he is semi retired now.

I went to see Minichiello's today in North Vancouver and will probably get my suit fitted with them.

Does anyone also know a good reweaver/invisible mender in or around Vancouver?
