For the navy shell loafer, which edge trim did we agree upon? I thought it was dark brown, but I don't remember.

For the navy shell penny full strap loafers, lets go with the dark brown edge. (we have the double monk in navy calf with dark brown edge and it really looks great)

I think we are going with dark brown edge for the Jodhpur as well? I will be placing the order tonight!

Steve I am perfectly fine to go against the Simpson last. It doesn't work well for me. I'm wearing my forest shell boots and would want something similar in fit. How would you compare forest to rain?

Also I agree this experience has been simple and easy.

Also I agree this experience has been simple and easy.

I have boots on both lasts, J and my Rain lasted suede jodhpurs are slightly tighter in the toe box to the point that they required a longer break in before they were comfortable for me. They "fit" out of the box, but they weren't as comfortable as my forest last boots until I'd worn them out twice. They got better after the first wearing and comfortable after the second.

So the forest boots fit me pretty well but my concern is because its a boot it needs to be a bit larger but having a narrower last might be perfect for an oxford.

Who wants in on this shoe?
