I'd prefer the oakham over the hove.

    Honestly, I can't decide which I prefer.

The Oakham is a great, unique make-up, but I know the Hove make-up will be more versatile. It is the heart vs the mind on this one for me..,

Struggling to figure out how that Oakham fits into my wardrobe. Hove is easy!

Sorry for the repost of the Oakham mock-up, i didn't like how i Photoshoped the hatch grain part, and felt compelled to fix it:

Now it's of the same quality as the other hatch grain mock-ups...

To be honest I'm less concerned about the new MTO pricing if they just expand the RTW styling and most importantly sizing (I need F widths at least).

I agree with Flake. Oakham is amazing but I just wouldn't wear them as often. I'm going to put my support behind the Hove 71.

I hate to muddy this conversation with financing questions but do these GMTOs usually charge half up front and half at production/delivery? In addition, what are the terms of the deal, MTO for RTW price?

Does that mean your in? If so, we are one away on Hove :bounce2:

As far as the terms, I believe a GMTO is RTW price for MTO specs. I also want to say it is a half now /half later deal, but I don't have GMTO experience in this matter. Maybe someone can clarify that...

The Hove as a GMTO with five participants, old price list:

    • Hove 6700 SEK ex VAT (about $1030 USD)
    • Trees (optional) 1200 SEK ex VAT (about $185 USD)
    • Shipping world wide 300 SEK (about $45 USD)

Total with trees and shipping about $1260 USD.

So if I have this correct, we now have the x6 needed for the Hove GMTO (SoGent, Flake, PCK1, Itsuo, Leaves, & me)? Let me know if everyone is indeed in, I figure at that point we can simply discuss the last details through PM.

    @Leaves
Would it be a 50% deposit, and 50% when finished deal, like a normal MTO? Or 100% up front?

I am open minded about those details (which we can all discuss through PM once all confirm). I will propose the black contrast stitching and black welt though. I had the single leather sole in mind.
