So I've been dubious of what they sell there for a long time, but yesterday I came upon a Brioni windbreaker which was incredibly fake. So I hit the chat button, and eventually my chat buddy pops up. We make some small talk I say to him, "I can tell you how I know this Brioni windbreaker is fake. You see the fabric in the lining? Neither horses nor the B logo are sewn into the fabric of the lining? That's just one way you can tell."
So he says something like, "Oh, thank you very much for pointing this out, and our goal is blah blah blah and the usual "We'll get this looked at right away, sir.... x, y, and z."
So I respond, "Sounds great, but you need to understand probably 90 percent of the Brioni items you sell are fake."
And with that, the chat is over. He drops me like a hot potato. NO "Are you sure?" NO "that can't be true." NO "our authentication team does an amazing job..." NO NOTHING. Just dropped. Lolol
Usually after chats with them, you get an email saying, "How was Jim-Bob's service (or whomever), and please rate them here. Thank you for shopping at Vestiaire." Well, I checked in all my email folders for just that kind of message.
Nothing.
