Maybe it's just me, but what does the 39 refer to? I always assume the second number is sleeve length, but that sounds quite long (okay very). Thanks!

39 is just the European size i.e. 39 = US 15.5" 41 = US 16" neck...many European makes do not include sleeve lengths absent an L for long.

You are correct! The sales tag said 15.5 (there is no box) but the shirt tag says 15 3/4. Same with the white/grey/red.

Thanks, samblau.

You ain't kiddin. I don't have a ton of experience with high-end RTW shirts but these have gotten a lot of praise from other sellers, and the quality is apparent.

How do Isaia shirts compare, quality-wise, fabric-wise, etc., with the other Neapolitan makers like Barba, Borrelli, Kiton, Attolini, Finamore, etc. Are you getting high yarn-number cottons with them?

That first shirt is gorgeous. The others are very nice as well, but the first one just pops right out.

I think the best comparison is to Barba. I won't lie though, I purchased one on this forum once, wore it, washed it and had to throw it in the garbage immediately as it came out looking like a shag carpet (it was washed in cold water only with other shirts and the others were fine. I was pissed. I have since purchased three and am very happy with them. Fit is slim (42-42.5 chest on the 15.75) but straight so no tapering at the stomach. Fabrics are good as is the quality (except for that first one

All of those are very nice. I have looked at these shirts at my local holts but could never pull the trigger at the silly prices they want. These are a steal...shame I'm doing a renovation to my closet

I got a few more:

If you see something in the listing above that you like but it's not in your size, and your size is 15.5, 15.75, 16, 16.5, 17, or 17.5, I MAY be able to get it. Sorry I couldn't find any 15.

Also, I think these may have hand stitched buttonholes, if you care about that sort of thing. They look hand sewn to me, but I'm not 100% certain.

I eagerly scrolled down for an 18". I guess I should spend the money on a personal trainer instead!
