I will go against the grain and rebel in this thread, which means that I'm largely conforming to most threads which have come before. Filet is not in my top three. I am a bone-in-ribeye guy. I'm not going to say that filet is for bitches, cause that would be rude, filet is like 90% textural. If you prefer that, good for you.

I don't mind it when it's on a porterhouse because it accents the strip on the other side of the bone. But alone? Not my style.

I've never had a properly cooked filet mignon...... as such, I've enjoyed ******* sirloins more.

Bone in rib eye ftw.
