I've been lightly fake tanning for about a year. I took a hiatus this week. I use fake tanning spray. I know it's not the most ideal way to get color. Real sun causes wrinkles and I cant use bronzer because I wear sunscreen every day. I've also never tried a bronzing sunscreen I like. The lighting in these two pics is different, but I think it's a fair representation. Use the skin tone of my hand in the tanned pic as a control to get an idea for the change it makes. Tanned:

Not really a fan of fake tans, but the top pic looks pretty natural, and not overdone or orange. Not sure if you can discern it in person though. Is this something you do only during the winter?

Don't be afraid of the sun, gotta get your vitamin D!

A friend was over the other night and she described her experience of fake tanning. She had a spray on tan which was a good colour to begin with, after a few days she started to mottle with it and then eventually when she went to beach she sat there thinking this is absurd and spent an hour scrubbing it off.

And I had a moon tan as in picture number two for years, and I never considered the need to fake it.

Sup Keano Reeves. No tan looks better and, of course, more natural.
