Expensive ties- how can people tell?

My wool and knit ties get noticed a lot more than anything else. No one knows what they are, but they are always curious. Most Hermes ties are a little too... frivolous and exciting for me.

Well some very few other like me I guess, by the way Hermes ties are always blue right?
