Fair? what is this, first grade?
Nobody is forcing you to buy a pair of defective shoe for more than list price either. The shoes will either sell or they won't.
Oh, and you "forgot" to figure in the upfront cost of having to purchse 45 squares or large number of shoes, with the risk that they will not sell.

+3.

Capitalism at work. Personally can't argue with someone who is willing to wake up earlier or put in more effort then me. After a transaction, honestly it's his/per property so he/she can do whatever with the item(s) with whatever business model they see fit. How I see things, if I want something bad enough, I would buy it MSRP. If I wait for a sale, it's hit or miss. Getting another 1 or 2 shoes (or not) won't make too big a difference in my life. But for others, if it's part of their business, it's a different story.

Following on from my post earlier in the thread, here are pics of the slate Albemarle's I picked up. Having tried them on again at home after a day's walking they're definitely tighter than absolutely ideal but I'm hoping they'll give a touch due to the softness of the leather. Sorry for the blurry pics, I'm clearly not a photographer!

I completely agree with Macallan

Hoarders are the scum of the earth. In an emergency situation they would be selling bottles of water for £20 and people like you would be saying this is fine, just capitalism in action.

I am hating on everyone who posts pictures in this thread, be warned.

Couldnt stay away on such a nice day so went back to buy another £295er

Burgundy Malvern E82. If you look very very carefully you will see a little black spot on the side. That is the 'defect'.

Love you too Spoo

Here is a different perspective. Not everyone has access to these sales. I benefit from a "jobber's" sales on Ebay. And I don't begrudge them the fruits of their labor. I am paying for a service. They got up. They waited in line. They bore the upfront cost and overhead. They got the best merchandise. I get to choose from that, and to buy what I like, often at my leisure.

Your getting a that same pair for 1/2 of what I paid benefits me not at all. Why are your needs greater than mine?

Don't get me wrong, but who are you?

I like to now who I am talking to, when it comes to such issues
