Boeing beige?
Indeed!
Nice! Which Casino?
this one is a 777-200
What is this? This looks like a mutated Galway
To be honest, I'm not up with all the terms etc. These were custom made / made to order through the Paris EG shop. The order form says: "Galway 4-82-E-Ridgeway- Black / Black Suede. The next line says "RNDTOE then EMBAUCHOIR BOIS F T:7" (but I have no idea what any of that means!)

here they are without my big foot in them.

Folks, anybody bought any Top Drawers recently. Thinking of a Burgundy Gladstone. But I'd just like to check out the price other people have been quoted as last time I inquired I got a vague (possibly inaccurate) sense that OS buyers were being charged more than locals.

My two cents: 82-E = last 82 E fitting, RNDTOE = round toe, EMBAUCHOIR BOIS = wooden shoe trees; F = F fitting, T:7 = size: 7

Don't know why the boots are "E" fitting but the trees are "F" fitting though.

Agreed. Pretty much spent my shoe budget for the year but I'd be all over an MTO in this. A reddish suede (berry is it?) and burgundy antique or a rich brown would be amazing.
Yes, different combinations of the leather colours would look very nice, but I had always intended this for work, so had to go black / black

lol, for the record, this was on the ground waiting for pax to board :)

Not sure about the trees either. One of them is very stiff getting in - not because the boot is a different size, but the metal prong things don't easily retract inside when pushing them in.

Thank you!

I would also like to thank the main posters here - it's this thread that convinced me to go with EG's in the first place and I don't regret it one bit. Sadly these forums have led me to the leather jackets and watch thread...

Yes. I placed an order for a pair in early February at the London EG store. I was charged £1,250 including VAT although, since I was quoted up to 10 months for delivery, I've only paid 50% of that so far.

UK VAT (Value Added Tax, i.e. sales tax) is 20% so the price excluding tax would have been £1,041.67 for my order. That's with no added extras such as metal toe pieces and was for a regular shoe rather than a boot.
