Well this is probably the third time this suits been posted here. Double breasted purple label. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...MEWA:IT&ih=008 How about no cuff on that, might make the pants work for me. I have a 29" inseam. Pleated pants and double breasted.. Would look nice cuffed right?

if it makes you feel any better, I am contemplating getting the same exact suit from virtualclotheshorse in a 40R, but I would never wear cuffless wool pants. I see a lot of peole here afraid of calkstripes and calling them gangster but I believe (as does the committee that make sthese decisons) that it is a classic. One of the things stopping me from getting the suit is that I don't have a gun that would match

Oh, I thought you were unhappy with the price so you're the seller. Do the lapels look pretty wide and notch fairly low?

Yeah, that eBay one IS a 40R. The seller is sizing it as a 38R. We could be bff! Well, that plus the noncuffable trouser length = I'm passing.

Yeah, cutting it close on ebay inseam length is always dicey, because you never know what you're gonna get. It's nice to have the comfort of extra inches to work with. I bought some super short second-hand pants figuring I could lose the cuff and gain the missing inches, but when they arrived, there was some minor fraying going on that spoiled my plan:

I couldn't let them out without having two tiny matching holes on my ankles. I knew this was a possibility, as they were used afterall, but luckily they were cheap cheap cheap and found a good home with some other short-legged SFer.
