looks like someone took them and washed them for you...

I've seen the freezing mentioned here before. The freezer didn't work (maybe it wasn't cold enough/didnt leave in long enough for the temp) but airing them out in temps in the teens was quite nice.

Wearing white jeans may make you rethink how often you should wash...

amazing how much they pick up visibly (even compared to khaki colored jeans)

I ate at a flat top grill the other day and on the back of the menu they suggest spraying clothes with vodka so you don't have to wash them. Vodka kills all the smelly bits but evaporates to leave no odor. I tried it but don't think I used enough vodka...

That's because you waisted your vodka on your clothing as opposed to consuming said vodka. Rookie mistake. Live and learn.

To the OP. Some crazy raw denim afficionados enjoy to do every day activity such as sleeping, riding bikes, climbing moutains, working out, running, jumping, showering, and all other type of hardcore **** with them in the jeans to give that advance wear and ultimately that faded and personalized result after prolonged washing. That's why those jeans get smelly as a pig in ****. I am not so crazy about all that and wear them normally. In all my time owning jeans raw or otherwise though, I have only washed a handful of times. If they ever got funky from wear in the summertime, I just Febreeze them and call it a night. My 2 cents.

I have a pair of jeans that I haven't washed for 16 months. It finally started to smell at 15.

I retract my previous statement. I was in the classroom in freshly washed jeans and the same smell was present. Must not be my fadestench

Whilst it may be dead obvious to us, it isn't so obvious to others, maybe a search was in order but there's no harm in asking a question that can spark some good conversation.

Out of curiosity is there anyone of us out there that washes their raw denim regularly/semi-normally?

Why wash any of your clothes? They'll just get dirty again. For that matter, why wash your dishes? Why bathe?
