I have the opposite problem. Apparently nobody who makes clothing expects someone who's 5'10 to be thin, so I either have to get stuff that's way too large width wise, or too short. I just want some slim fit cloths that don't cost an arm and a leg! FFS!

sorry to hear that my ppl hosed you sick. I actually picked up a completely reconstructed pair of raw denim for $30 bucks so $20 to hem shirts is crazy.

Generally, you can barter with most asian tailors...$2 a pop is really cheap but I'm sure they'll do it for $10 for both.

When I initially bought some AA shirts, I thought they were a bit too long and contemplated heming them. They eventually shrunk though...
