EG stuff tends to flare out a bit below the chest. It's not enough to be noticeable, and it's meant to accommodate heavy layering. Basically I just got my tailor to remove the flare and take the arms in a bit. I don't even know exactly how she did it, the inside piping is still the same, and there's no signs of alteration anywhere, it's just slimmer. In other words I finally found a good tailor

so basically the tailor took some of the inner lining ? make the coat less warmer?
what do you mean by take the arm a bit? make it more slimmer?
so you are tailored it to make it more slim fitting and dont look so bulky?

sorry. im just really curious, how does your coat differ from the normal/untailored herringbone coat..

no no, there was never a lining on the inside. I assure you the coat is very warm as it is, the wool is very heavy.

She just made the waist and arms a tad slimmer, with no visible signs of alterations

Hey Ott, is the coat still available? If possible, may I have shoulder to shoulder measurements for the coat?

hmm I'm still not really sure where I should be measuring the shoulder. From the top of the shoulder seam across the front of the jacket to the other shoulder seam is about 17.5 inches. Hopefully that's correct.

If that measurement seems totally ridiculous for a size Small someone tell me please, it probably means I measured it wrong.
