+1

The sleeve length is actually prob the best part as they can be fixed. only look a little more than an inch short, and typically there will be enough fabric to lengthen.

I really like this guy, Re-Evolving. I'm not going to comment on the entire jacket, but as stated, you need to add about 2.5 - 3 inches to the length of your sleeves.

+1 if you're serious. He raises a lot of important issues and despite all the mockery on the forum usually makes sense. At least people can learn from the threads he starts (if only from his own mistakes).

FTFY. And maybe "like" was a strong word (or outright incorrect word choice).

People have suggested other problems you have chosen to ignore:
-breast pocket too low
-jacket too short

Let's add to that: excessive material around the hips. From the rear shot, it looks like the bottom of the coat flares out in a strange way. All of this would be easier to tell with better, full body shots, but you seemed determined to defend how much you like this coat.

As long as you're wearing the pants in your first post here with the jacket, you'll be fine. No need for alterations.

The entire jacket is short and lengething the sleeves will make them fall lower than the skirt of the jacket (judging by the photo). Sometimes internet MTM is a worse deal than alteration-tailored RTW.

The entire jacket is off. While it buttons, it is way too short in the body. The pockets are jammed on top of each other, and the sleeves you correctly described as "comically short." Have the whole thing remade.

Actually, long jackets are for old men.
Trust me, I know what I am talking about.
In fact, I think this jacket is a bit too long.
I might have it shortened by 1/2"

Breast patch pocket. In reality, it might be an inch too low, but it looks like more b/c the pocket is exposed on the outside.
Optical illusion. Try focusing on the top edge only, and you'll see it's not that bad. This is too minor to return the jacket over.
Also, if the lower pocket is large, it's going to appear crammed.

Yeah, now you are just gilding the lily. You know this thing is an epic trainwreck.

Need better pics where you are in a normal stance and preferably not so up close. all the pics cut out the back/shoulder area, and the close up pics make it hard to gauge perspective of the overall jacket.
