They look like they are not new in a good way.
Very nice. Be sure to keep those reindeer shoes polished -- they get really stiff otherwise.
They're not done. They should be boned and polished for a few years before even being worn.
Much worse to drink Bordeaux too young than Burg.

I have spoken recently to a 'closer' who has worked over the years on many pairs of 'Reindeer Hide' shoes and he feels it is important to keep them well greased, all the time. Use 'Dubbin' or similar leather fat. I know, this is not normally recommended for dress shoes, but this leather seems to need it, otherwise it dries out and the leather cracks. A few months back, I've seen a pair at New & Lingwood which someone had returned for repair, the upper leather was all cracked.
