I've got the grey suede ones uk 8.5 which I wear with a thin insole and am now thinking of getting a leather pair.

Just wanted to know if the leather pairs stretch less than the suede pairs?

If so then I might get away without needing an insole for the leather models.

I've seen some pics on this forum of grey suede ones, and I think they look awesome, especially with a little wear. Does anyone know if there's anywhere that they still sell these? Judging by the responses in here It seems as though they're discontinued! It sucks cause they're such a nice color.

good luck finding them from retailers, I've tried doing phone orders for one but they end up mailing me every color but the grey ones

So it's been asked a couple times in this thread, but it seems like no one ever replies: how do you guys clean your beeswax DBs?

I'm about to use some Dr. Bronners or Obenauf's White Jaguar leather cleaner to clean some puke off of mine (or maybe I should leave it on because it adds character!), but I'm a little paranoid...

i think i've seen some pics of this happening to other people's clarks db's before... the suede upper is "peeling" from the crepe sole where the stitching is. the stitching is fine, its just the leather and crepe have started to seperate (on both feet) where the shoe bends when the foot is arched. how have others been fixing this? super glue?

I like the look (I wore mine with jeans rolled up above the ankle last summer), but I wouldn't go sockless. That's just not very comfortable.
