So, I bought this Hickey Freeman mainline suit 38R about 1~2 years ago from the factory outlet, when they were going bankrupt. But, it was when I didn't know anything about proper fit. I just bought it, since it was a great deal (I guess $110 for fully canvassed suit with good fabric is still a great deal).

Now, with my interview season coming up in next 12 months, I am trying to get this suit tailored.
I thought about getting a better fitting suit, like BB Fitz. But, I don't think I would have any luck in my town, unless I drive 6hr down to NYC. So, I would prefer to make the best out of this suit.

I figure that the shoulder fits okay. But, for a 5'10" slim built Asian person, I think waist and torso need to be taken in. Plus shortening the sleeves and tapering the arm with.

So any critiques and recommendation for tailoring would be very much appreciated.

Fix the waist, forget the rest. It'll be fine for interviews.

yes, but price?
salvage value and tailor cost might cost more than buying a new reasonably decent one on sale
