Sobriety helps out with those tough choices. In my day the worst you got if anything was the clap, now random hookups just seem scary.
My explanation to her for declining sex was that "I wanted to keep the numbers down" (I've only been with a handful of women). I have no recollection of any of this, but I find it very amusing that I would be able to say that drunk and that she was apparently not offended.
Everything else I was very unamused by. I got very lucky.
