Bespoke suit NYC in less than 8 weeks?

To answer the original question, I have no doubt that any of the NY bespoke tailors could make a suit in 8 weeks if they wanted to. The question is whether or not they would be willing to upset their production schedule and bump other customers for you. Also, since many use outside shops for trousers (and maybe vests) they might have to pull that work in house to make your schedule. For an existing customer with a good reason for the hurry, I am sure Raphael would do it. I would expect the others would as well. For a stranger - no idea.

I'd still go with a MTM suit, given the time crunch. You can simply inform the salesperson at bergdorf or barneys that if the suit is not in hand within 7 weeks, you will be unwilling to pay for it. certainly Brioni, Isaia, and others should accomodate you-- and you can select a softer shoulder nowadays on Brioni, Oxxford, etc.
