Started a new thread here, as the previous "Bespoke in Atlanta" had not been posted on in ten years. Things have changed in the ATL--or maybe they never had, but people just don't know where to go. In my experience, almost everything in ATL is MTM, not bespoke, with the exception of Teofilo Flor, who is the new proprietor of Mario Bosco's tailorshop. Someone on the original "Bespoke in Atlanta" thread mentioned Bosco's, and made what I think was a snide comment to say that Atlanta now ranks with Milan and Naples. Flor is a true master tailor, having begun his apprenticeship in Paraguay when he was 8 years old. He does the cutting and sewing work for Edgar Pomeroy, who maintains an A-list of clients. Flor himself has made suits for Elton John and Andre 3000, among other celebrities. He has been contracted to do work for Martin Greenfield. And the surprising thing about all of this, is Flor's humility, and his prices. I had a suit made: $2000. That's for fully bespoke. No one touched my suit--from the drawing of the pattern, to the cutting of the fabric, to sewing, other than Flor and his two assistants. It was a truly magnificent experience (but do not plan to have a suit made quickly, FYI). Anyway, I can post pics and all that, if anyone cares. I just wanted to rescue Atlanta from the earlier post where folks were talking about the dearth of quality high-end clothing available in this city. It's here; you just have to know how to find it. For shoes: Cobbler Union is a good local bet.

I don't work for this guy. I just bought a suit from him and it was great. The previous bespoke in Atlanta thread was pretty denigrating about getting bespoke in this city, and I wanted to rectify that, since I had a really great experience.

I'll add that there are at least 2 other bespoke tailors in ATL that I've heard good things about, but I haven't purchased from them so only know from hearsay: Edgar Pomeroy and Hong Kong Tailors.

I wouldn't mind pictures if you have them still

I only just saw this sorry. Sure here is a pic I posted in the regular WAYWRN. To be fair: I’d gained a bit of weight so there’s some pulling. I’ve since lost it tho! So on my next post when wearing the suit that pic will be available:

here’s a closer shot:

Anyway, I’ll be hitting Teo up for a new commission soonish. He’s def worth the $
