I took my Alfred Sargent doncasters to b nelson to get a dainite resole. Turn around time was a week and they were kind enough to get them to me a day early. The boots had been worn 3 or 4 times a week for 5 years or so, and definitely needed a resole. The work looks very good in general, but the toe box is flatter/less round and feels tighter. Is this fixable, reason for complaint..or is this to be expected with a resole?
I also had some other work done(vibram half sole/waterproofing) on another pair of shoes which was top notch, excellent.
Ill update with pictures tomorrow.
