Maybe I missed it, but are you available for Canberra based viewings?

Absolutely, We've often turned these kind of things in to mini meet ups where the couple of Canberra members go for a beer/coffee and look at a few things. But it can also be organised one on one, at your home or office provided it's not before 5.30pm. There is of course no obligation to buy anything. Just pm me if there is anything you want to check out.[/quote]

Always keen to meet other members, but I'll get onto it more when things settle down a bit here.

That's quite a nice looking watch, though it is on the bulky side of course being a pro-diver style. I don't know if that might be an issue for you?

Yep, that was my concern initially, but I think 42mm should be okay on my wrist, assuming I wear it with a nylon zulu strap. The 'oversize' look would work excellently in the more casual setting I'm envisioning for it. I'm not going to impulse buy as it'd take a few months to get to Aus anyway (ships end of May or something) so in the mean-time I'm going to see if I can try on some similar sized dive watches (with hefty lugs like the prodiver) and figure out if I like the feel of 'em on my wrist or whether I should just say 'feck it' and save up for the titanium Tudor Pelagos (which also catches my fancy).

I know I come to you guys for everything but hey, you know your stuff.

Does anyone know how to go about getting a good conservative business dress type haircut? Do you go to a barber, a stylist or a hairdresser?

I have wavy brown hair and suit cuts on the longish side (no ****) and I'm over going to hairdressers who want to do short back and sides.

I'm not sure, my hair dresser used to have a salon in the conservative business dress but now works with his son in Kensington.

I also have curly hair and share your pain. It takes a lot more work by both the hair dresser and myself to make it look good, even tame, at anything but a short length. As you say, you need someone to do everything (except the sideburns and back edge) with scissors. I pay about $40 for mine and he spends about 35-45 minutes, so I'd expect it will cost you more in the conservative business dress.

Sydney isn't bad.

Guys, I am getting barefoot running. Any suggestions on shoes?

Does anyone know a good website that has excellent 5,000 metre 12-20 week training programs?
