Yes, they're made in Provence, France. The designer/owner is Dutch who (to my knowledge) moved to Provence years ago.

The owner/designer is indeed Dutch, but lives in Holland. He also owns Mode d'emploi and the chain store Bendorff. I own Atelier jeans, they are well made and have nice denim.. but the fit is what I would call "Popeye pants".... Too much hype about them lately, not really justified. I am not sure that they are still made in France (remember, what percentage of work is only needed to have the "made in ...... " label).

Yes I tried the prescott a few months ago, and didn't especially like it...I'm in love with t he ALD more baggy pants...
For straight cut I prefer some other brands...but off course they are extremely well made....
