The light silver blue in the first pic is really outstanding. Not a fan of the red as it kind of looks like a volume class automobile for some reason. The black is kinda cool, in a batmobile sort of way.

The Vantage is my favorite Aston Martin, but those hood vents look terrible.

Yes, I agree that the vents look terrible, but the V12 would make it palatable.

I sort of like the hood scoops, besides this car looks considerably more aggressive than the 4.7 Vantages....it has some of the DBS's styling cues.

All true, but I love a V12.

The V12 is a nice addition for a car that only seemed to be lacking in power. But this raises the question: why buy any other Aston Martin now? The Vantage has always been the only unbloated car in the line-up.

Well, everyone's going dual clutch paddle shift, not auto, and I've got to admit they're impressive. I still like rowing my own gears, which is very quaint of me, but if the focus is absolute performance, manual gearboxes are done. I finished BMW's "M School" at the Performance Driving Center yesterday, and everyone was impressed with the DCT in the E90 M3s we used, though the big personal surpise for me was how much I liked the M6 - I wasn't expecting to.

Or, just use force induction on the V8, it was never a sports car anyway. If I want V12 Aston I would go for DBS, now just to have make money...

How "heavy" did M6 feel compare to M3? By the way, are they going to phase out SMG all together, and use DCT on all future M models (and traditional 6 speed)?

I agree completely...there's really no need in selecting any other Aston. I would love to see the weight specs with the new engine.
