Sorry to be a pain, but can you measure the length. I was undecided between getting a 9.5 and a 10, (as apparently they run big). Would you be kind and comment as how they fit to your usual size (i.e. you wear a 10 in tramezzas or Alden barrie etc)

Hi Oscar- unfortunately I'm at work right now, so i dont have them handy. If they're still unsold when i get home i will definately post detailed measurements.

There's a good deal of info about fit in the Bancroft thread itself (should be easy to find w/ a search), but I can tell you that its on the new 8 last (like the Mora double-monk, the Taunton boot and the Westgate wholecut) and does seem to fit a bit large, owing either to ithe Euro-sizing, the comparative longness of the 8 last, the way the E width effects the general proportions or some combination of these 3 factors. I've worn 9Ds in Park Ave (quite snugly though, would have preferred a 9.5d or e) and the pair of bancrofts Im keeping are a 9 (though I do have a thin insole in them).

I would suggest that if you are on the fence between sizes, go with the smaller size.
